BDL Summer Day Camp 2024
We are happy to announce that we will be holding a BDL Summer Day Camp!
The BDL Basketball Summer Day Camp provides a sound foundation for beginners and a very strong challenge to advanced players. Coaches will give detailed attention to individuals in the areas of ball handling, passing, dribbling, footwork, defense, shooting, position work, and rebounding. This camp is a great opportunity for young basketball players looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills in a positive learning environment.
Registration Fee: $150 (Cash or checks made out to Basketball Development League of San Jose). Fee includes camp t-shirt.

Fees can be paid at BDL practices or games. Payment must be made by 9:00 am, Monday July 29, 2024 to participate. If you have any questions, please reach out to us!

Season 80 Information
ADULT TEAM CAPTAINS: Please let Bia or Michelle know whether your team will be returning for Season 80 by Sunday, April 14th. We will then open up the waitlist for new teams. You may also email us at bdleague.sj@gmail.com if there are any questions.
DATES
Registration for Season 80 is open! Season 80 is to begin May 19th, 2024 and tentatively set to end August 4th, 2024. Registration forms can be accessed here. Thank you!

FS, ROOKIES, JUNIORS, & SENIORS

There will be a minimum of 8 practices and games each season.

ADULTS

There will be a minimum of 6 games. If you make it to the championship game, you will play 8 games.

Each team should consist of 8 players, preferably 9, with at least one girl.

Teams may wear different color shorts, but ALL players must wear the same shorts. The shorts must be the same brand, color and style. You may buy them yourselves or let us know and we will order them on Eastbay for you. Teams must still wear the BDL jersey tops.

Adults who do not have a team will be assigned a team.

Adults who receive 2 personal technical fouls will receive a one game suspension. Adults who receive 3 personal technical fouls will receive a season suspension.
GAME CANCELLATION FEES
In the past, there have been teams that couldn't attend games due to out of town commitments/COVID issues. We scheduled a different team in place of them. With this upcoming season as well, we would like to know by Thursdays to make the proper adjustments for game schedules and fill in vacant spots. This game will be counted in the standings. If not notified by Thursdays before game days, a $25 game cancellation fee will be implemented.
ADULT SILVER
​Adult Silver is to be family friendly. It is a non-competitive division and if a team is deemed over competitive, please look into joining the Adult Gold division. Please note we received teams in the previous season with players who should have been playing in Adult Gold, making it unfair to other teams in Adult Silver. Thank you for understanding.
